Pastor Bryant McNeal has been described as an anointed minister of the Gospel and a Christian example for all age groups. Born in Phoenix, AZ, in 1974, to Christian parents - Dr. & First Lady McNeal. Pastor Bryant McNeal accepted Christ in his heart at an early age and was baptized in 1992. His spiritual training began at the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Felton King.
After accepting the call to ministry in June of 1994, Pastor Bryant McNeal was ordained a minister at the Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ and appointed Minister of Music and Youth Pastor. He later trained musicians and choirs throughout the state of Arizona and founded AZ Cathedral Ministries. He has also served as Minister of Music at several churches in the State of Arizona and across the United States.
Some time later he felt the Lord leading him to North Hollywood, California, for further training under the tutelage of Pastor E.V. Hill II and church. There he was ordained an Elder and appointed to oversee several ministries, as a servant to the body of Christ.
Following this time of service, Bryant returned to Phoenix, Arizona, to begin pastoral work. His God-given vision for Spirit & Life World Ministries Church was realized on Sunday, April 7, 2002, when the church was birthed with a highly-anointed praise and worship service at the Radisson Hotel in Tempe, Arizona.
After seven months of services at the hotel, God directed Pastor McNeal to move the congregation to another area of town. The congregation began to seek the Lord for a permanent location for Spirit & Life World Ministries Church. During this time of seeking the Lord, the church invited Evangelist Debbie Whipple to conduct an EVUSA prayer walk at the church. It was during this prayer walk, that God began to give great increase to the church. Pastor McNeal believes that "Increase comes when favor is operating through the door of faith while stepping on the grounds of impossibilities." It was during this prayer walk that God granted Pastor Bryant McNeal favor with the owner of the building, and the owner donated the building and the land to Spirit & Life World Ministries Church.
The vision of Pastor Bryant McNeal and Spirit & Life World Ministries Church embraces the concept of the uncompromised Word of God and seeks to embrace cultural diversity by ministering to people of various ethnic backgrounds. The church employs both traditional and progressive outreach methods, including, but not limited to, weekly worship services, crusade evangelism, media ministry, and creative outreach for children, youth and young adults.
Situated in the heart of the greater Phoenix area on more than four acres of land and housed in a 7000 square-foot building, Spirit & Life World Ministries church continued to carry out the vision given by God to Pastor Bryant McNeal. Their goal is to spread the gospel of truth to a dying world. Since April 7, 2002, over thirty ministries in operation in the church have seen many lives changed, souls saved, and people delivered from the bondages of sin.
What many may not know about Pastor Bryant McNeal is his testimony of how God spared his life after being dead for hours on the operating table due to an attack by the enemy, how God pulled him out of the hands of a kidnapper and negative community influences, or how God protected him from three life-threatening automobile accidents. These miraculous events and many more explain in part why God is using Bryant McNeal and Spirit & Life World Ministries Church to reach people for Jesus in the Phoenix area and beyond.
Pastor Bryant L. McNeal continues to be an example for Christian men and women of all ages. As Spirit & Life World Ministries Church celebrates three years in ministry under his leadership, Pastor McNeal expresses his gratitude to Bishop James Leggett, Pastor E.V. Hill II, Dr. Ronald Carpenter, Dr. Owen Weston, and the IPHC family for their affirmation in Pastor's life. He faces the future with great expectation and frequently quotes the late Dr. E.V. Hill, who often said, "If you have the faith, God has the power."
Just recently, God has expanded the ministry to a even greater level this year 2010 and now because of FAVOR they worship in a new cathedral, with classes, dorms, fellowship hall, youth center, and much more and the best is yet to come!!! |
