Pastor Yolanda Johnson was born in Carthage, Texas, to Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Johnson. At 6 months old, Sister Johnson and her mother relocated to Houston Texas, to start a new beginning.
Pastor Johnson had a God fearing great grandmother by the name of Lila Goodwin, that she would visit every summer. They would sing and praise God every day in a little wooden house deep in the woods of Tenaha, Texas. At that time she was introduced to the movement of the Holy Ghost.
At the age of 9 years old, Pastor Yolanda was prophesied to that she would receive a gift so precious to her that she would never let go. In the next year, Sister Johnson was invited to church by a dear friend, Michelle Lockhart. The presence of God was so strong in that service, as Yolanda held her friends hand, the Holy Ghost touched her Soul. She started running around the church and speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance. That was the day Sister Johnson received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in which she was prophesied at age 9.
Sister Johnson became a member of Apostolic Tabernacle under the leadership of Dr. Lester A Roch. She was a member of the church for 25 years, where she praised God, worked in Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and the Outreach Ministry.
In 1997, God relocated Yolanda and her children, Jermesha and Marcus Johnson, to Phoenix, Arizona were she then met, Evangelist Naomi James Stewart of Greater Hope Deliverance Church. She worked diligently in the ministry under the leadership of Evangelist James, working with the Youth, Children, and Praise Dance Ministries for seven years.
Sister Johnson then had another calling from God, to work under the leadership of Pastor Reginald & Alice Jones at New Birth Community Church.
In 2007, her calling from God directed her to start her own ministry. She has acknowledged that calling to share the word, teach the word, and preach the word.
Yolanda has been an educator for the past 6 years at Career Success High School, in which she teaches Culinary and Work Readiness. She also ministers on Sunday’s at Career Success High School.
